The Year 3 football team were invited to take part in a new football tournament at Harold Wood Primary. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the team played with great determination and continued to build on their teamwork throughout the day.
The tournament kicked off with a tough opening match that ended in a draw. Dylan made some excellent saves in goal, keeping the team in the game, while Ellis scored two fantastic goals with Jack providing crucial assists. Their strong collaboration set the tone for the rest of the day.
In the next match, the team focused heavily on defence, Hector, James and Colby all did an outstanding job stopping the ball and preventing the opposing team from scoring. Their defensive efforts were key to maintaining the team’s momentum.
The team's hard work paid off with their first win of the day, thanks to David, who scored some impressive goals. Theo and Zavian were also instrumental in the victory, providing solid defensive support and keeping the opposition away from the ball.
