Weekly reminders for week beginning 14th November 2016

Thank you to all those parents / carers who attended Miss Ettridge's workshop last week - we hope you found it useful. It was also lovely to see more parents at the Parent Council meeting - you input was very valuable.

Attendance Week
This week is ATTENDANCE WEEK where we are aiming for our best ever attendance and punctuality. There will be prizes for all children who have an attendance of above 99% and a bigger prize for the winning class. Please help us beat our record and your class to win!

Literacy Workshops
Miss Ettridge will be holding another workshop this week, again on Tuesday. This will be focusing on Key Stage 2 and how to help you support your children at home with Reading and Writing. There will once again be three workshops taking place at 9.15, 2.15 and 6.00. We hope to see many of you there.

Year 5
Year 5 will be finding out about the Junior Travel Ambassador Role on Thursday, we hope that they come home enthused and tell you all about it.

On Thursday, we are looking forward to welcoming lots of parents / careers from Year 5 to their first Learn with my Child event of the year. The morning will start at 9.30 and finish at 11.45am. Please come for as little or as much as you can.

Children In Need
On Friday, we are once again supporting the very worthy cause of Children in Need this year whose theme this year is 'Spotacular'. In doing so we will be having a non-uniform day where we will be showing our support by coming dressed in something spotty (a small donation in the bucket is all that is needed)! All donations received for this will be sent to Children in Need. Please help us support this worthy cause!

Sport
Good luck to the boys Football team who play Upminster on Tuesday and to the Netball team who are playing Towers Junior away on Wednesday evening.
