The children in Year 5 enjoyed the TfL workshop on Thursday.
They were truly inspired and engaged with the data relating to transport in and around London and gave some fantastic examples of how they travel to school. With this, they were able to create a human bar chart of the types of travel in their class and discuss why we choose this mode of transport.
The children particularly loved the giant Oyster Card and seeing how it actually works. They were able to understand how this card helps us travel.
They also learnt about the amount of passengers using public transport around London each day as well as the hidden technology at road junctions. They enjoyed acting this out!
A fantastic and informative day – thank you TfL!
