Day 25 of the Clockhouse Family

Good evening Clockhouse

I hope you have all enjoyed the snowy start to the week despite how very, very cold it is! It has been lovely to see so many pictures of the children having fun in the snow! At least it has given a different option and something different to do. Here we are at the beginning of Week 6, the last week before the half term holiday and hopefully a little bit closer to an announcement from Boris Johnson regarding schools re-opening to the children. We can but hope! The staff have loved seeing you back on Zoom today and we have seen lots of wonderful learning as well as lots of snow fun!

It may be the last week before the holiday but it is important that we keep going together and continue to try and do the best we can. Thank you to the very large majority of our families who are engaging so, so well with our current learning approach. If we do call you, please do try to answer. We are doing it because we care and want to help.

Team Hawaii have had another good day in school. They have enjoyed seeing many of you on Zoom as well as having some fun in the snow.

Well done also to all those who have displayed hearts in your windows. Our walkers are out again this week looking for them. Keep sending in your pictures. Can you help us get our heart appeal as far as possible around the world?

If you are eligible for Food Vouchers, these will come from the Local Authority for the week of half term. Please be aware that if you have applied for them previously, you do not need to do anything. If you have not applied previously, you will need to do so via the Havering website.

Look out for my weekly virtual newsletter (tomorrow) and the theme for this Friday's 'Feel-good Friday Fashions' as well as some other exciting news from OCA (Our Clockhouse Association) about their half term challenge in conjunction with Keystones.

Keep being amazing team Clockhouse!
Please look after yourselves, follow the rules and stay safe, only by doing this and working together will we get through this.
#ourclockhousefamily
Kind regards
Mrs Savidge
