As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Willow H for always being so good during circle time and her valuable contributions.
Reception - Malia A (Wales) for trying so very hard with her sentence writing.
Year 1 - Daksh S (France) settling so well to his learning and showing good listening skills.
Year 2 - Hudson S (Canada) for going above and beyond to improve his reading at home and continuing to read books we are learning in our English lessons.
Year 3 - Elizabeth H (Brazil) for always being kind and helpful throughout the day, she contributes to every lesson and tries her best to support everyone else on her table whenever they need it.
Year 4 - Andrew G (South Africa) for working really hard to complete his tray work independently.
Year 5 - Tudor M (India) for continued high standards in Maths.
Year 6 - Jamie W (New Zealand) for his amazing perseverance and positive attitude towards all aspects of his learning this week.
Miss Ward - Iffa I (China) for showing great care of our environment.
Mrs Reinecke - Fabian S (China) for showing great care of our environment.
Mrs Savidge - Demi-Leigh S (South Africa) for her hard work and determination to improve her knowledge of fractions.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
