As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Ted H for developing the confidence to talk to the children and adults in the Nursery.
Reception - Daniel V (Wales) for showing great improvements this week.
Year 1 - Artiom T (Italy) for trying hard in his writing and having a positive attitude.
Year 2 - Amirah S (Mexico) for working very hard in maths and for doing extra maths work at home. This has really helped to improve her skills.
Year 3 - Warith P (Peru) for overcoming his reluctance in P.E.
Year 4 - Ruhama (Kenya) for showing enthusiasm for her learning and sharing her work and ideas with the class.
- Miss Jones and Miss Tolaini for going out of their way to be kind and supportive of their team.
Year 5 - Lusian K (India) for completing all of the two minute challenges - an extraordinary achievement.
Year 6 - Tristan O (Australia) for an extraordinary effort in all aspects of his learning and improving his attitude towards his learning.
Miss Ward - Mason F (Brazil) for being mature, kind and nurturing to others.
Mrs Reinecke - Bella J (Argentina) for consistently giving of her best in all areas of school life.
Mrs Savidge - Ruya F (Spain) for being extraordinarily helpful around the school.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
