As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Charlie C for making excellent choices.
Reception - Kenya P (Wales) for trying so very hard in all areas of learning.
Year 1 - Daniel K (Spain) for being a fantastic role model in class and making fantastic progress in his learning.
Year 2 - Mrs Noe for being so supportive to class Mexico.
Year 3 - Jake H (Brazil) for settling back into school so well after being away for a while and although he was a little nervous, he has made an excellent start to the Summer term.
Year 4 - Ben A (Uganda) for having such a positive mind-set to his learning after coming back from the Easter holiday.
Year 5 - Cruz C (India) for showing such good behaviour and a having such a positive return to school.
Year 6 - Mason S (Fiji) for his extraordinary effort during his boot camp work.
Miss Ward - Ronnie S (France) for pushing himself out of his comfort zone.
Mrs Reinecke - Tristan O (Australia) for showing great resilience during his learning time.
Mrs Savidge - Liam T (New Zealand) for being such a great help to everyone in Time to Eat.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
