As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Uzayr U for fantastic learning.
Reception - Maria B (Scotland) for working so hard and always following the 3 R's.
Year 1 - Omar D (France) for being a positive role model in class and always trying his best with his
learning.Year 2 - Harry N (Canada) for always making positive contributions in class, working hard and extending his learning beyond the classroom.
Year 3 - Abigail O (Peru) for working really hard in her maths lessons and completing more of the challenges each week.
Year 4 - Darshan R (South Africa) for showing great resilience in his maths learning.
Year 5 - Iffa I (China) for her amazing English work and dedication to her class mates at lunchtime.
Year 6 - Ayaan J (New Zealand) for going above and beyond in his revision, even asking for extra reading revision he can complete at home.
Greenland - Harlie S for finding out amazing facts about the Greek Gods at home.
Miss Ward - Isra F (Fiji) for her amazing learning during bootcamp.
Mrs Reinecke - Liyana S (Fiji) for her extraordinary contribution to ensuring Time to Eat runs smoothly.
Mrs Savidge - Andrea P-H (Mexico) for her incredible effort in all of her work, but especially the Year 2 times table rockstars battle, where she earned an extraordinary amount of points and was the best player in the year group.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
