Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Ali M (Scotland) for exceptional manners and always helping to keep our classroom tidy and trying hard with his learning.
Year 1 - Amber V (France) for always following the school rules and working exceptionally hard in all areas of her learning.
Year 2 - Amelia P (Mexico) for making an exceptional effort in all areas of her learning and working hard to reach her potential.
Year 3 - Tainara A-C and George F (Argentina) for being an exceptional role model to others.
Year 4 - Ismail K (South Africa) for an exceptional piece of art work.
Year 5 - Charlie J (India) for managing his emotions exceptionally well and for amazing history work and listening so carefully to reasons for invading Britain.
Year 6 - Archie A (New Zealand) for not giving up and showing exceptional persevering in his Maths challenges of Multiplication last week. Even when he got stuck he was determined to get to the right answer and kept going until he got there.
Greenland - Lily M for exceptional effort when writing her instructions text.
Miss Ward - Nyla R (Northern Ireland) for always being ready, respectful and responsible.
Mrs Reinecke - Sophie M (India) for being an exceptional Clockhouse Citizen and giving up her own time to help keep our school tidy.
Mrs Savidge - Hudson S (Argentina) for showing exceptional kindness to others and for coming out of his shell and being and exceptional member of his class.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!

We loved having hot chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
