Clockhouse triumph and Tri Golf!

Clockhouse took part in Havering’s Tri Golf festival on Tuesday 25th April taking 10 children from Year 4 to take part in the event!

Clockhouse wanted to take the opportunity to enter the festival as Golf is a new sport added to the curriculum just this year with Year 4 having already had one term learning some new skills in Golf.

The children took part in 8 activities going around to each station collecting points for their team using a series of different golf shots and target work! All 10 children enjoyed themselves and had the chance to represent their school in something new.

Clockhouse achieved an amazing total of 653 points resulting in 5th place against some challenging schools.

Miss Macdonald said “It was great to see how well the children did encouraging one another and applying skills from the lesson to help them meet their targets. I was very happy to have the chance to give children the opportunity to represent their school in something they enjoy! Well done all keep up the hard work."
