We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2023-2024!
A huge congratulations to
Sophia M (Fiji)
who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Sophia has given up her free time to help clean up her local area. She also is the first child to volunteer to help with jobs in the classroom. She helps everyone feel included and is a joy to have in the classroom - Fiji are very lucky to have her :).
Demi S (Fiji)
who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Demi has donated some of her home stationary to our class as she wanted to make sure we had enough equipment. She also is very helpful around the class much like Sophia! We are very lucky to have her!
Rachael W (Fiji)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Rachael has blown us away with her knowledge during our Viking Day. She has found a love for the topic and has spent many hours reading and learning in her own time. Our visitor asked the children to spell a Viking word (Yggdrasil) an old tree that represents the middle of the earth. She could spell this with no problem and he said this is the first time in 10 years that a child has ever been able to do this! Truly remarkable :).
Ethan B (New Zealand)
who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Over the whole of October, Ethan has been taking part in a sponsored skip-a-thon to raise money for cancer research. He has had to skip 100 skips a day and, on the 31st, he completed his challenge and raised £225 for this amazing charity. We are all so proud of him in Class New Zealand and think he has done an amazing job of showing how he can go beyond the possible to support our community.
Hassan A (New Zealand)
who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Hassan has really impressed me with the respect that he shows to other adults and especially to visitors to the school. He always listens with 100% attention and asks insightful questions to help further his learning. He speaks politely to adults and models wonderful manners and helpfulness to the other children.
Mia W (New Zealand)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Mia has really impressed me with how well she has now settled into Year 6. Her tenacity is shining through every day and it has been true pleasure to watch her grow in confidence in both social and academic situations. She has shown dedication towards her learning and I can see that every day she is pushing herself just that little bit more to achieve, understand and excel in the different skills and challenges that she encounters each day.
Alecia C and Shaney-Rae L (India)
who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2023-2024!
I am incredibly proud of the fantastic start that these two students have made to Year 5. Whilst they sometimes find having confidence challenging, they are both beginning to develop this and are becoming fantastic role models for the class. They show respect in everything that they do - in their manners and politeness and in their learning. I would like to nominate both of them for this so that we can recognise how hard they are both trying.
Jack B (South Africa)
who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This member of our class is a very keen footballer! His club is under threat of loosing their training ground which would be a massive blow to the children who play there and their families. He has been heavily involved in campaigning for the club to stay open, and even appeared on BBC London news to talk about what the club means to him and his friends. I was so impressed with how well he expressed himself and he was a fantastic ambassador for his club. Well done Jack B, I am so proud of you!
David C (Argentina)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2023-2024!
For being extremely kind and offering help to everyone in the class when they need it.
Marli A (Argentina)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!
She consistently pushes herself with her learning, asks questions to develop her understanding of our topics being taught and develops her understanding further at home.
Isla-Rae W (Argentina)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!
She always pushes herself in her learning and with her expectations for herself. She is a role model to those around her and strives to do well.
A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
