We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2023-2024!
A huge congratulations to
Ruhama Y (New Zealand)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Ruhama is a very caring young lady who always wants to make sure that everyone in class is ok and happy. She goes out of her way to support her friends and peers in what they are doing or in encouraging them to keep trying when they get stuck on a problem. Within class, she is also helpful in completing jobs around the classroom and would help anyone who is in need.
Amelia R (Japan)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This child strives for excellence in all she does. From art to maths, she will always give 110% and always seeks ways to further improve and develop her learning. The ability to continuously reflect and strive to further improve her learning will certainly take her far. She is a very worthy winner of the excellence badge and I am very proud of her. Well done Amelia
Alfie T (Japan)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Alfie always listens well to feedback and is continuously wanting to do better. In Japan, he is known as our mathematician however it has been his writing ability that has impressed me the most so far this year. He will edit his work to ensure it is the highest quality and will take care when using ambitious vocabulary to further improve writing. I always look forward to reading his writing, it is such a joy to read.
Safae B (India)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This student is always trying her best to make as much progress as possible. I have been astounded at the effort she has put in and the amount of things she has achieved since being at Clockhouse. Recently, she impressed me when writing a balanced argument about our book, 'Journey to Jo'burg,' and has generally been a fantastic role model to our class when it comes to learning. Keep it up!
Jack A (South Africa)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This member of our class has impressed me so much this year with his fantastic contributions to our afternoon lessons! He listens carefully, asks relevant questions and loves to share his thoughts and opinions during class discussions. He has shown a particular interest in our Ancient Egypt topic and has absorbed so much information which he gladly shares with the class, something which he hasn't always had the confidence to do in the past. It has been wonderful to see his confidence and engagement in lessons improve so much and other members of staff around the school have noticed this too. Well done Jack A, we are all super proud of you!
Roy D (Brazil)
who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This child always shows respect to his peers and adults around the school, and helps other children do the same. He is always diligent in his approach to tasks, and will show the correct behaviour when learning inside and outside of the classroom.
Colby V (Canada)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!
When nominating him it was really difficult to decide on the most appropriate badge, which is a true sign of excellence. He is a kind, caring and nurturing member of the class who will always go out of his way unasked to help others, whether that be by holding a door or reading to his class mates in DEAR time. He is always ready and willing to help others. He tries hard in his learning and will always support his friends to achieve their best too, which especially shone through when learning about performance poetry. He is not only a good role model to his peers in class, but consistently displays all of his admirable qualities outside of the classroom too. He is a true asset to class Canada.
Bilal W (Canada)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!
Some tasks do not always come easy to him, but he meets each and every challenge with a huge smile and so much determination! He works hard to reach his potential in every lesson and never gives up. All of the adults in school love the opportunity to work with him as they know he will always give his best, not only in regards to his own learning, but by supporting others and encouraging them. It is a real privilege to be his teacher.
Chase S (Spain)
who has earned the Excitement Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This boy is always excited to learn and push himself. He is resilient with his learning and tries so hard in every aspect. He perseveres when things are tricky and is always excited to give things a try. He comes into school every morning with a smile and an amazing attitude towards his learning. We are all so proud of his progress and love seeing him excited about his learning.
A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
