Clockhouse back with a bang after new year!

Clockhouse blew away the cobwebs on Friday evening in their penultimate league game when they travelled to Squirrels Heath Junior School.

After a possession dominating start, Clockhouse took a little while to find their shooting rhythm but once normal service had been resumed Clockhouse caused havoc, not letting Squirrels Heath out of their defensive third.

With a comfortable lead at the end of the first third the opportunity to experiment with the side and give a number of players the challenge of playing out of position was taken in their stride by the Clockhouse side.

Mr Yarrow said after the game 'sometimes playing a side a lot weaker than you is not ideal as bad habits rub off, but I would like to praise Squirrels Heath for their never say die attitude and finishing the game with a smile on their faces. Although the win came easily it was a good way to ease ourselves back in after the Christmas break. We now have one last league game left next Wednesday at home to Harold Wood. A win there all but guarantees we are Havering North League Champions, as always we welcome any support. Well done tonight team Clockhouse!'
