Good evening Clockhouse
Well what a week it has been! It is hard to believe that this is
Day 40 and we are at the end of Week 8. I am sure that many of you have read
the letter I sent out today highlighting our initial thinking and planning
regarding the re-opening of the school. If you have not yet done so, I do urge
you to read this. The letter can be found on our school Facebook Page or on
School Story of Class Dojo. Thank you for all the positives responses we have
received so far, all your messages are so gratefully received! Planning will
continue next week and further communication will be sent when we are in a
position to do so.
A big well done to our whole community this week - children,
parents and staff alike continue to work so, so hard and do their very best.
Keep going everyone, it is hard but together we can get through it!
'Team F1' have been
working with the children and supporting the community today. The
children in school have spent time doing some investigations as well as
completing their Google Classroom work. Miss Marsh has worked with Nursery, Reception
Year 1 and Year 2 and Mrs Bradshaw with Year 3 and 4 and Miss Taylor with Year
5 and 6. They have been supported by Mrs Britten and Mrs Williams. Mrs
Edgar has been in the office and we also had Mr Ron with us. I have also been
in school.
Highlights of the Week:
All your amazing home learning and the things you have been
getting up to at home and at school are a highlight of every week and can be
seen in the photos below. Other highlights this week have to be:
- All your hard work on the Times
Table Rock Star Challenge. Rock Star Ronnie will be announcing the winners
over the weekend.
- The live workout led by Mrs
Everingham, well done to all those who joined in.
- The amazing poems that some of
you wrote this week, we were all so impressed.
These are just a few, there really are so many more! What has been
your highlight of the week?
Please try and make the most of the weekend and enjoy time as a
family. Get some rest ready to go again on Monday. Hopefully the weather will
remain nice and you will be able to get some exercise outside.
Please keep using #ourclockhousefamily with things that you are
posting as a further way of keeping in touch. We might not be seeing each other
every day but we are still one community who care for each other!
If you do have any feedback for us about what we are doing and how
we can improve, please do let us know.
All that leaves me to say is, thank you for your continued support
and kind words at what is such a difficult time for us all and from all at
Clockhouse Primary School have a great weekend at home!
Enjoy the selection of photos below!
Our community - Our school - A family and a home for everyone!
Stay safe and keep smiling
We miss you all
Mrs Savidge
