The Clockhouse Year 1 football team had a fantastic day at their football festival, showing great determination, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout. The Festival focused on allowing the team to grow in confidence and play friendly games against different schools. This was a very exciting chance for the children to progress with their football skills.
Every player gave their very best in each game. Their technique improved as the day went on and it was wonderful to see such strong sportsmanship, with the children encouraging and supporting one another at every opportunity. In attack, Dominic and Frankie worked brilliantly together, pushing forward with confidence and scoring some fantastic goals across the matches. Their efforts and teamwork were a real highlight of the day. Cayson and Cali-Rae showed great awareness and determination playing in defence. Artur, Joseph and Maisie played well across the pitch. The team showed energy and a willingness to get involved wherever needed. The team also rotated goalkeepers throughout the festival and every player who took on the role made some incredible saves, showing bravery and quick reactions under pressure.
Overall, it was a brilliant team effort, full of energy, teamwork and resilience. Well done to all the players for representing Clockhouse so proudly!
