As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Ralphie S for showing independence in the nursery.
Reception - Darcy S-T (Wales) for always trying her hardest.
Year 1 - Oliver S-M (Italy) for being so resilient with his learning and completing some fantastic writing.
Year 2 - Mrs Coulter for her extraordinary efforts to help a new staff member settle in.
Hugo C (Canada) for working so hard to practise and improve his spellings every week.
Year 3 - Amina M (Peru) for working really hard to improve in her maths.
Year 4 - Tilly C (Uganda) for being an excellent role model during science club.
Year 5 - Vlad C (India) for working really hard to challenge himself and making a conscious effort to improve in all areas, especially maths.
Year 6 - Jacob L (Australia) for his exceptional effort and resilience in his mocks this week.
Greenland - Harlie S for showing great resilience with his maths learning.
Mr Yarrow - Alfie B (Italy) for fabulous home research to prepare himself for the Great Fire of London dance lessons.
Miss Ward - Darine A (Spain) for fabulous efforts with her phonics and reading.
Mrs Reinecke - Mrs Hazelwood for her fabulous efforts to keep our environment tidy.
Mrs Savidge - Tudor M for being such a polite member of our school who shows care for everyone.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
