Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Rylee V for a great improvement in his behaviour and taking part in more activities.
Reception - Madison F (Northern Ireland) for her wonderful writing.
Year 1 - Zophia U (France) for being a kind and considerate member of the class and always showing the 3Rs.
Year 2 - David M (USA) for working hard this week in a team to build a moving float for our Chinese Workshop Day.  David showed excellent listening skills and organising skills.
Year 3 -  Harvey C - (Peru) for doing an amazing piece of sewing and then helping those children who were struggling.
Year 4 - Katie A (Kenya) for always showing outstanding behaviour and completing her work to an outstanding level.
Year 5 - Harley G (Japan) for her massive improvement in reading and her attitude to reading.
Year 6 - Hamza S (New Zealand) for showing perseverance when tackling fractions challenges in Maths this week.
Greenland - Bobby M-J for passing all his two minute challenges this term.
Miss Ward - Mariyah K (Brazil) for some extraordinary work at home.
Mrs Reinecke - River S (India) for striving for excellence in maths this week.
Mrs Savidge - Damian R (India) for being an extraordinary Clockhouse Citizen in so many different ways.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
