As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!
As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Myah-Rose L for being such a good girl all the time and following the three R's.
Reception - Blake O (Northern Ireland) for trying so very hard with his work this week.
Year 1 - Rayyan R (Italy) for making fantastic progress in his 2 minute challenge and always trying so hard with his learning.
Year 2 - Alexander N (Mexico) for showing a fantastic attitude towards his learning and striving to reach his potential.
Year 3 - Noah J (Argentina) for developing his confidence, being actively involved within lessons and trying his best with all of his work.
Year 4 - Jody W (Kenya) for showing great resilience in class and trying really hard with his learning.
Year 5 - Ivan A (Japan) for being a great Clockhouse citizen, and showing the 3Rs whilst away at Condover Hall.
Year 6 - Sienna L (Australia) for her exceptional work in boosters and willingness to improve.
Miss Ward - Ellis B (Northern Ireland) for being super helpful. When he found that there were hundreds of googly eyes spread all over the art table in Scotland, he stood there and picked them all up for her.
Mrs Reinecke - Livia H (Australia) for showing great resilience in the lead up to SATs.
Mrs Savidge - Ruby T (Northern Ireland) for being exceptional in all areas of school life this week.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
