As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Ted H for growing so much in confidence since joining the Nursery.
Reception - Noah C (Scotland) for being extraordinarily creative in his learning.
Year 1 - Miylah B (Italy) for trying really hard to expand her friendship groups.
Year 2 - Albie W (Mexico) for outstanding effort in English.
Year 3 - Yusuf A (Peru) for working extremely hard in all areas of the curriculum and always trying to challenge himself.
Year 4 - Lucas P (South Africa) for coming out of his comfort zone and giving up his ear defenders for periods of time.
Year 5 - Ria A (Japan) for her amazing Design and Technology work which inspired the other Year 5 classes.
Year 6 - Andrei R (New Zealand) for positive attitude and overall good manners.
Greenland - Grace P for always completing her home learning and reading every evening at home.
Miss Ward - Ava B (Nursery) for being such a sensible girl and always being dependable.
Mrs Reinecke - Teddy M (Japan) for his excellent application of maths skills to decimal place value.
Mrs Savidge - Freya C (Italy) for being a wonderful Clockhouse Citizen and her extraordinary efforts to improve her learning.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
