As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.
This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!
This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':
Nursery - Erynn H for always being kind and friendly to her friends in the Nursery.
Reception - Jake M (Northern Ireland) for trying so very hard with his school work.
Year 1 - Isla-Rae W (Spain) for trying hard in all areas of her learning and being a positive role model to everyone in her class.
Year 2 - Hilary M (Mexico) for always being an outstanding Clockhouse Citizen. She is always showing the 3 R's, being an excellent role model to her peers and striving to reach her potential in all areas of her learning. Even when she has found learning challenging she has shown the secret 4th R, resilience. She never fails to make the ordinary extraordinary!
Year 3 - Maia A (Brazil) for making a massive effort in all subjects to work faster and this has meant she has made amazing progress and has now really shown us all of the learning she has done in Year 3.
Year 4 - Charlie G (Uganda) for his fantastic French learning and applying his prior learning to new learning.
Year 5 - Arry M (China) for producing an amazing piece of English work last week.
Year 6 - Henry G (Fiji) for amazing effort in using his creativity when making skeletons for art.
Greenland - Grace P for her amazing resilience when going climbing and getting to the top of the wall.
Miss Ward - Josiah A (Spain) for his amazing behaviour and being a fabulous Clockhouse Citizen on the school trip.
Mrs Reinecke - Lois M (Brazil) for a confident and cheerful performance of her class assembly.
Mrs Savidge - Hamza S (New Zealand) for his extraordinary braveness this week.
Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!
Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
