Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Maham M (Scotland) for exceptional handwriting and always being kind and polite.
Year 1 - Olivia M (Spain) for trying exceptionally hard with her spellings over the last few weeks and making great progress.
Year 2 - Poppy H (USA) for showing exceptional resilience when writing and really trying hard to work independently.
Year 3 - Taylah P (Brazil) for being exceptional by always engaging in every lesson and for being the only person in the class to score a basket during our basketball game in PE.
Year 4 -  James K (Uganda) for being exceptionally engaged on our trip, answering all the questions and linking his learning to what he has learnt in class.
Year 5 - Hassan A (Japan) for working exceptionally hard to improve all aspects of his learning. He is always keen to improve his work and I am super proud of all the effort he is putting into making sure his work is the best it can be.
Year 6 - Lainey S (Fiji) for taking exceptional pride in her presentation and working to the best of her ability every day.
Greenland - Bobby D for completing his first full days in Greenland and playing alongside his peers.
Miss Ward - Jake H (South Africa) for exceptional resilience in every part of school life.
Mrs Reinecke - Louie S (Japan) for being exceptional with his learning - working independently, showing pride and presenting work beautifully.
Mrs Savidge - Macey C (Australia) for exceptional resilience to learn how to 'chunk' in maths.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!

We loved having hot chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
