Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Uzayr U for fantastic learning.
Reception - Maria B (Scotland) for working so hard and always following the 3 R's.
Year 1 - Omar D (France) for being a positive role model in class and always trying his best with his
learning.
Year 2 -  Harry N (Canada) for always making positive contributions in class, working hard and extending his learning beyond the classroom.
Year 3 - Abigail O (Peru) for working really hard in her maths lessons and completing more of the challenges each week.
Year 4 - Darshan R (South Africa) for showing great resilience in his maths learning.
Year 5 - Iffa I (China) for her amazing English work and dedication to her class mates at lunchtime.

We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have our next Clockhouse Value Champion!

A huge congratulations to

Emily S (Uganda)

Emily always shows excitement in science and shares this love with her peers which in turn excites them also!

Alanya H (Fiji)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2021-2022!

All the adults in our team have noticed how nurturing and caring Alanya is throughout the day. She cares so much for her peers and never allows someone to be on their own, even if they are in another class. She has such a kind heart and we are very lucky to have her in our class.

Courtney B (Fiji)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2021-2022!

Courtney consistently shows excellence but more so in his classroom ambassador role. He knows our school very well and speaks with both knowledge and pride to any visitor who comes to our classroom. He knows how our curriculum works and can link any learning to our schools values / drivers. I am so proud of him every time!

Ben A (Greenland)
who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2021-2022!

Ben has been helping his elderly neighbours by going shopping with her and then carrying it back from the shops. This was seen by two members of staff. When we asked him about this he told us that he always helps her do her shopping. We feel this is a lovely and kind thing to do for members of the community and he deserves recognition for his kindness.
