Clockhouse Weekly Wow

Here is this week's Weekly Wow, as usual there are a lot of things to 'wow' about this week! Look at all those classes in the Green Zone again - amazing!

Borough Champions begin with emphatic victory!

In the schools first match since winning the Havering Borough Cup there was possibly a pressure of living up to the title. The Clockhouse team travelled to Suttons Primary School, who we drew 3 - 3 with last year.

In a flawless performance Clockhouse walked away with a 16 - 0 victory limiting Suttons to just 2 shots in the whole game.

Suttons did not give up from start to finish, but the Clockhouse game tempo was hard to live with. Players made debuts, and some of the returning squad tried new positions.

Scorers on the day were Sophie L x 6, Lily S-E x 5, Hayden M x 2, Kayleigh M x 2 and Ben C.

Clockhouse are next in netball action on Tuesday evening.

SQUAD: Beth C (c), Charlie B, Kayleigh M, Bobby I, Frankie R, Sophie L, Lily S-E, Hayden M, Rachel C, James O and Ben C

PLAYER OF THE MATCH: Bobby I

A fun day of Year 2 football

Clockhouse attended the Year 2 football competition on Thursday at Play Football. The tournament was played in great spirits with development and enjoyment at the forefront of the day.

With the sun shinning Clockhouse made a fantastic start beating RJ Mitchells amd St Peters. Clockhouse also had the two finalists in their group, Harold Court & Benhurst. Each team played each other twice with results staying the same, resulting in Clockhouse finishing 3rd overall in their group.

Chelsea scouts in attendance were really impressed with Harry M who scored 11 goals on the day, our other goal scorer was Alex C.

Mr Yarrow said 'It was great to see so many Year 2 children out enjoying sport! The children who represented the school today were amazing and played the whole day with a smile on their faces, I couldn't ask for more than that. I am hoping for many more opportunities to take Year 2 children out to sporting events. Thank you to all the parents who helped with transportation. A fun day out for all involved!'

TEAM CLOCKHOUSE: Alex C, Alfie S, Lucia G, Isabelle H, Harry H, & Harry M
