Clockhouse run through the streets of London!

On Sunday a small number of our Year 5 children were lucky enough to take part in the London 'Mile a Day' race. The children started their run in Green Park and finished in front of Buckingham Palace.

As a school we were choosen to take part due to the fact we participate in the Mile a Day at school where children walk / jog / run a mile each day. This is proven to improve the physical, social, emotional and mental health and wellbeing of children – regardless of age, ability or personal circumstances.

Well done to all who took part - what an honour, you were all amazing. A big well done to Jake L who finished the first of the Clockhouse children. A further big well done and thank you to Mrs Curry and Mrs Redgrave who took time out of their weekend to run with the children!

Going Above and Beyond Celebration

Hot Chocolate with the Head!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all working to 'Go Above and Beyond' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Mrs Pacheco, Mr Bottrill and Mrs Savidge will chose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to 'Go Above and Beyond'.

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Go Above and Beyond'.

Reception - Mrs Hickson for showing great flexibility in her approach to supporting the Early Years.
Year 1 - Gracie B for showing extreme kindness to others when needed.
Year 2 - Lucia B for trying extra hard to overcome her fears and doing so.
Year 3 - Emily C for being extra positive and pushing herself with her learning.
Year 4 - Jessica R for showing an amazing attitude to her learning and school life in general.
Year 5 - Ruby S for showing improved focus and attitude in all aspects of her learning.
Year 6 - Giulia N for showing extra perseverance and initiative.
Mrs Pacheco - Riley W for showing great maturity when needed.
Mr Bottrill - Uzaair R for showing an amazing attitude to school and learning.
Mrs Savidge - Lewis G for showing resilience to school and his tests despite a sudden change.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have gone Above and Beyond this week.

We are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic people!
