Successful Launch of the No Cost Uniform Shop – Thursday 26th April 2018

Calling to all Parents, Carers and Children of the Clockhouse Community – we thought you might like to know that the No Cost Uniform Shop was launched with balloons, colour and even some nice weather! Bursting forth from the KS1 ICT Suite, Mrs Edgar, Michaela, Mrs Tilbury and Mr Giddy were hand on to meet and greet the parents, carers and children that had come to browse around the inaugural opening of the No Cost Uniform shop! The clothing racks were laden with plenty of jumpers, t-shirts, summer dresses, shorts, plimpsolls, PE kits and even some coats!! All of the items were kindly donated by the families of Clockhouse. All items were washed and name tags that could be ironed on were made available. Plus there was some fantastic fun activities including decorating your own bag, using recycled pencils and pens and even the bags were recycled too, for all those who visited to try their hand at!! In total we were able to give away over 90 separate items.

As you may be aware the No Cost Uniform shop is available to support families at Clockhouse with items of clothing that as a family you may need because your existing items are either lost, grown out of, or simply worn out!! We welcome any donations of items of clothing that you are to contribute and the donation bin is outside the KS1 building by the steps.

The next time the shop is open is Thursday 24th May at 3:30pm and then every last Thursday of the month.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
