As part of their learning about Day and Night, Year 1 are learning about nocturnal animals.
One of our parents kindly brought in a hedgehog and rabbit to meet us today so that the children can learn about the lifestyle of the animals and how they are looked after!
Year 1 are busy asking lots of questions to help improve their knowledge, ready to write some information about nocturnal animals. If you have a child in Year 1 and want to do some further research we will be only too pleased to hear more information.
Cute! Joshua will be sad he is now in Year 2 and missed it! We have been thinking about getting an African Pygmy Hedgehog as a pet...named Sonic of course! :)
