Weekly reminders for week beginning 18th April 2016

It was lovely to welcome the children and families back to school last week and hear all about the holidays that had been had.

We have another busy week ahead at Clockhouse with a lot going on.

Uganda and Mexico
Uganda and Mexico start this years round of Celebration Assemblies on Monday, we look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that they have done so far this year. Both assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by.
Uganda - 9am (Key Stage 2 Hall)
Mexico - 2.45pm (Key Stage 1 Hall)

Starsnappers - Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
We are very excited to welcome Starsnappers again to Clockhouse. They came to school recently to work with Year 4 and 5 and the children loved developing their digital photography skills. Morning Nursery and Year 1 will welcome them on Monday,  Afternoon Nursery and Year 2 on Tuesday and Reception on Wednesday. Other year groups are to follow throughout the rest of the year.

Year 5
Year 5 are off to the Ragged School on Wednesday. Please ensure that consent forms are returned by Monday so that the children can go on this trip, without which they will not be permitted to go.

Year 2
Year 2 are off to Colchester Zoo on Friday. Please ensure that, if you have not done so already, consent forms are returned to the Year 2 class teachers by Wednesday to ensure that the children can participate.

Sport
Good luck to the Year 5 and 6 Basketball team who take part in a borough competition on Tuesday. Good luck also to the Netball team who play Towers Junior away on Wednesday and to the Tag Rugby team who have a match at home on Friday.

Have a good week everyone!
