Weekly reminders for week beginning 10th June 2019

Well done to everyone who ensured that their children had Amazing Attendance and Perfect Punctuality last week. It was good to see and needs to now be maintained.

Thank you to the parents and families who joined us on the Monday last week for the Celebration Assemblies of China and Italy we are sure you will agree they were a lovely occasion and we look forward to seeing more of you at these events during the term.

Thank you also for your support with the Enterprise Day that was held last week. With your overwhelming support we raised approximately an amazing £1208.47. Huge well done to our winners - India! Thank you also for your support on Friday, with the Fathers Day sale.

Maths Week
Following the success of last years Maths Week we will once again be carry this out this week. We have lots planned for this children including fun things in classes and visitors coming into talk about the importance of maths. We are also looking forward to welcoming the Puzzle Company for some year groups to work with. Do not forget to send your pennies in for the annual Snake Coin Challenges!

Japan and France
Japan and France continue this years round of Celebration Assemblies on Monday, we look forward to seeing many of you there to celebrate all the learning that they have done so far this year. Both assemblies promise to be a wonderful occasion if the efforts that the children have put into practising are anything to go by. 

Japan - 9.10am (Key Stage 2 Hall)
France - 2.50pm (Key Stage 1 Hall)


Year 6
The Year 6 children will be learning their Life Skill for the term throughout the week which is basic First Aid. We are sure you will all agree this is so important.

Year 4
Year 4 are off to Paradise Wildlife Park on Tuesday. If money and slips have not be returned please ensure that this is done on Monday.

Year 5
We look forward to welcoming our Year 5 parents for Learn with my Child on Thursday morning at 9.30am - 11.45. Please come for as little or as much as you can. As with the other year groups, regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.

Key Stage 2 Choir
Good luck to the Key Stage 2 choir who will be joining other schools at the Queens Theatre on Wednesday to put on the annual Music Festival.

Sport
We have lots of sport happening this week. Good luck to the Year 3 and 4 Athletics team who will be taking part in the annual Quad Kids event.
