Weekly reminders for week beginning 2nd November 2020

Welcome back to the new half term everyone!

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school tomorrow (Monday 2nd November). We hope that you all had a lovely holiday and are ready and raring to go for the new term ahead!

Well done to all those who entered the Pumpkin Carving Competition, your carving skill are fantastic!

We have a busy week to get us started this term!

Best of British Week
This week we will be celebrating Britain and the British Culture with our annual Best of British Week. We have lots of exciting things planned and, although it will be different his year, are still looking forward to having a mini street party on Friday as part of this, which will also see the Great Clockhouse Quiz. A letter about this came out before the holiday via Dojo.

Thursday will also be No Pen Thursday - we wonder who will manage the challenge!

Parents' Evening
Do not forget that on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week it is Parents' Evening after school. Teachers have been busy making appointments for everyone, so if, as yet, you do not have an appointment please contact your child's class teacher on Monday to make arrangements for a meeting. As you know, due to the current situation, as far as is possible, this will be on Zoom. Please do bear with us as this is obviously the first time we have done anything like this.

The termly questionnaire for parents / carers came out via Class Dojo yesterday and can be accessed using the link below

As always we thank you for your feedback. We do appreciate that this takes time but your feedback is invaluable to us as we continually strive to improve the educational experience we provide for the children and families we serve.

Please do allow your children to be part of the meeting so that they also know how they are doing and what they need to work on. The importance of the co-education of your child cannot be overstated.

Please look out for the Zoom Guide for parents coming home on Monday and ensure you adhere to this when signing in to the meeting.

Year 6
Year 6 have Miles to Mole visiting virtually for a workshop on Friday. Please do take the time to talk to the children about this when they get home.

Following the announcement from Boris Johnson last night, obviously we will continue to do all we can to keep the school as safe as possible and again I will not promise anything I cannot deliver to you. All that we ask is that you all do your bit as well and stick to the rules! Thank you in advance.
