Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Going the extra mile' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Going the extra mile':

Nursery - Tiya P for interacting so much better with the other children since joining us and joining in with all the activities.
Reception - Beau M (Wales) for trying very hard with his sentence writing.
Year 1 - Rosie L (France) for always being an amazing classroom helper.
Year 2 - Dylan M (USA) for always working hard, helping others and cheering up his classmates.
Year 3 - Raees A (Argentina) for showing a keen interest and continuing his learning at home and finding out more amazing facts about Aristotle.
           - Mr Donno for going out of his way to help the wider school team.
Year 4 - Vlad C (South Africa) for making an extra effort to concentrate during lessons and engage in his learning and class discussions.
Year 5 - Kiahna P (India) for being aspirational in her maths work this week and pushing her self further than before.
Year 6 - Klaudia R (New Zealand) for an amazing effort with her English writing this week creating a report / explanation text about a Hippogriff.
Miss Ward - Mason M (Japan) for showing amazing enthusiasm during his work with Mr Pye.
Mrs Reinecke - Charlotte T (Japan) for her resilience and determination in her maths work.
Mrs Savidge -
Archie D (Uganda) for developing his resilience and working hard within lessons.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Going the extra mile' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
