Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Maria D for always being so sensible and always doing what is expected of her.
Reception - Darcy S (Wales) for making an extraordinary effort with her learning.
Year 1 - Artiom A (Spain) for trying so hard with all his learning and being so enthusiastic.
Year 2 - Antonia B (Mexico) for being a kind friend to everyone and always trying her best in all her work.
Year 3 - Lexi G (Peru) for always wanting to help her peers and the adults in the classroom.  If her peers are upset, she will always make sure that they are okay.
Year 4 - Jody W (Kenya) for having a positive attitude when coming to school and trying extra hard with his learning.
Year 5 - Hudaifa M (India) for working really hard in English this week, including self-editing as he worked.
Year 6 - Ibrahim A (Australia) for his excellent behaviour and attitude whilst participating in OPAL this week.
Miss Ward - Abdulrasheed B (Italy) for being so helpful with tidying up from OPAL.
Mrs Reinecke - Lacey C (Fiji) for being so generous and helping adults out during her lunchtimes.
Mrs Savidge - Cerys H (China) for being extraordinarily polite and caring for the whole community.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
