Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Nellie R for always being a good pupil and setting an excellent example.
Reception -
Riya B (Scotland) for making wonderful progress with her reading and writing.
Year 1 - Olivia M (France) for trying so hard with her learning and as a result making excellent progress.
Year 2 - Zaynah H (Canada) for working hard both in class and at home to continue her learning across all subjects.
Year 3 -  Alfie K (Peru) for making a big effort in all lessons and taking on board and acting on what the adults have said to him.
Year 4 - Elijah R (Kenya) for working independently and trying his best.
Year 5 - Jess W (Japan) for working extraordinarily hard to improve her maths learning.
Year 6 - Ava C (New Zealand) for showing wonderful kindness to others, being helpful and trying her best no matter the challenge.
Miss Ward - Tyler M (Argentina) for showing great resilience and determination with his learning.
Mrs Reinecke - Olly F (China) and Amara S (India) for extraordinary improvements in their arithmetic work.
Mrs Savidge - Harrison L (Uganda) for being a great all round Clockhouse Citizen.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
