Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Reception - Lenny D (Northern Ireland) for trying very hard to use all the provisions on offer to him.
Year 1 - Olivia R (France) for always helping in class and being a positive role model to others around the school.
Year 2 - Scarlett H (USA) for super independent English learning and using amazing adjectives in her writing.
Year 3 - Alfie T (Argentina) for being a super Class Ambassador and speaking French to our special visitor and for being a superstar role model to all of his peers and continuously being an outstanding member of the class.
Year 4 - Frankie W (Kenya) for pushing himself with his learning, showing resilience and stepping out of his comfort zone.
Year 5 - Emmie P (China) for dealing with a difficult situation and still working incredibly hard in class.
Year 6 - Alfie G (Fiji) for fantastic effort and continual hard work with his maths learning.
Greenland - Teddy K for making great choices and completing all of his learning.
The Office Team - Mrs Collins for going out of her way to learn new things and help others.
Miss Ward - Arlo P (Italy) for making fabulous progress with his learning.
Mrs Reinecke - Oliver S-M (Italy) for being an excellent ambassador for Opal and demonstrating the school values to visitors.
Mrs Savidge - Katriel P (USA) for amazing learning, especially in maths.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
