Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Reception - Elliana S (Northern Ireland) for producing wonderful creative work.
Year 1 - Nikos A (France) for always showing great enthusiasm when completing his work.
Year 2 - Antonia B (Mexico) for being a mature, positive, hard working girl since coming to Year 2.
Year 3 - Poppy J (Argentina) for using the 4th secret R (Resilience) with her maths challenges and trying her best with all lessons and always making sure those around her are happy and ready for learning.
Year 4 - Caitlin H-K (South Africa) for showing resilience with her subtracting work and not giving in.
Year 5 - Amara S (India) for persevering in her multiplication and never giving up.
Year 6 - Oliver E (Fiji) for showing fantastic and extraordinary sticky knowledge and learning about the Golden Threads.
Greenland - Harlie S for trying hard in all areas of learning this term.
Miss Ward - Millie M (Japan) for her pushing herself in her maths learning and improving her arithmetic knowledge and scores.
Mrs Reinecke - Sabiha R (Italy) for her very hard work in phonics.
Mrs Savidge - Alex C (Australia) for his determination and excellence in problem solving puzzles this week.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
