Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Chance N for making excellent progress in the Nursery.
Reception - Fabeha B (Wales) for trying so hard to improve her writing skills.
Year 1 - Marli A (Spain) for making fantastic progress in her learning and becoming more independent in her writing.
Year 2 - Aivah W (Canada) for working so hard in all areas of her learning. She has made an incredible amount of progress in her reading and writing as a result of her excellent attitude to her work.
Year 3 - Luca D (Brazil) for always being creative both in school and at home and making a great effort to stay focused on his learning this week.
Year 4 - Amaya K-B (Kenya) for always showing excellence in her behaviour and learning.
Year 5 - Olivia W (China) for writing an amazing description and character introduction in English.
Year 6 - Amelia S (Fiji) for showing extraordinary perseverance.
Miss Ward - Teddy K (Greenland) for trying so hard with his SATs tests.
Mrs Reinecke - Henry C (Argentina) for and excellent effort in all areas of school life.
Mrs Savidge - River S (India) for growing in confidence in all areas of learning especially in maths.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
