Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Olly S (Scotland) for his exceptional name writing and trying so hard with his phonics.
Year 1 - Graham H (Italy) for trying exceptionally hard this week to make good choices.
Year 2 - Mrs Booth for all of her exceptional work to support everyone in class USA.
Year 3 - Jayden F (Brazil) for following the three R’s at all time, showing exceptional excitement for learning and is a very helpful young man.
Year 4 -  Armandas G (South Africa) for his exceptional sportsmanship in PE, including others and playing fairly.
Year 5 - Louie S (Japan) for his exceptional maths learning on fractions this week! He has shown excellent resilience and determination to complete all challenges.
Year 6 - Mrs Beard for her exceptional hard work in arranging the children's and the staff's Advent Calendar.
Greenland - Khloe F for her exceptional effort to start using an AAC device to support her communication.
Miss Ward - Jahquan C (Australia) for showing great progress with his arithmetic learning and moving up on the arithmetic challenge set for him.  This is due to his exceptional hard work and determination.  The adults are very proud of him!
Mrs Reinecke - Shaney-Rae L (Kenya) for her exceptional determination and good work in improving her maths learning about time over the week despite it being difficult.
Mrs Savidge - Racim A (Fiji) for working exceptionally hard to complete all of his challenges and actively participating in his language group.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!

We loved having hot chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
