Time to CELEBRATE - Value Champion Alert!

We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2022-2023!

A huge congratulations to

Iffa I (New Zealand)
who has earned the Excitement Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Since September Iffa has always been very quiet and reserved; however, her courage in taking on one of the leads in our end of year production has resulted in another side of her coming to the forefront. It has been wonderful seeing her come to life on the stage and I could not be more proud of her. She has learnt all her lines, she sings, she dances - it really is a joy to watch.

Albey R (New Zealand)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Albey is one of the most caring and compassionate young men that I have ever had the privilege to teach. He always thinks of others before himself and wants to make sure that everyone around him feels welcomed and a part of the group or the activity. He has endless patience and it is wonderful to observe his interactions with other children and the adults in the class.

Lola S-E (India)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Lola has a really nurturing nature to both adults and children.  She interacts well with others showing care and comfort when needed. She is always happy to include all children in games she is playing and doesn't like it if someone is left out. During her learning she will take the time to support others making sure they are happy to complete task independently, but continues to be a support if needed.

Louie S (Japan)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

For excellent effort in improving both his reading and writing skills. He has recently moved up a book band and is making such good progress that he has challenged himself to move another book band before he leaves Year 5. His writing has also come such a long way since the start of the year and he should be very proud of the progress he has made.

Elizabeth H (South Africa)
who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2022-2023!

She listens intently to all grown ups when they are explaining the learning and she gets involved with all class and group discussions. She will be the first to write her date and learning objective ready to start every activity and will ask for help to better and extend her learning. She acts upon all feedback given to her and is happy to offer help to others who are struggling on her table.

Jake H (South Africa)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!

Jake is always caring and looks after his peers.  Last week we went on a trip to Paradise Wildlife Park.  Whilst there, he continued to show how caring he is.  The children went into the meerkat tunnel and were very excited.  There was a little boy in there and he got upset as he could not find his way out.  Jake helped him out and took him to find his mum.  The mum came up and told me that a child had helped her child and that she wanted to say thank you and  let an adult know.  Well done Jake!  We know that you always demonstrate the nurture value in school and are so proud that this has also been recognised outside and by a member of the public.

Larry D and Harry T (Brazil)
who has earned the Excitement Champion Award for 2022-2023!

I have been so impressed with these two boys during our creative lessons. They both struggled with their confidence earlier in the year and were quick to give up during our art and design or D & T lessons. However, the difference in them in the Summer term has been outstanding. I was particularly impressed last week when we completed cross-stitches in class and both boys focused fully and produced amazing results completely independently. I am so impressed and would like to recognise their efforts with this badge.

A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
