Blake has gone out of her way to support others in the class. From children she has known for many years to new children who have joined the class. She is patient, caring and never needs to be asked to do this things - it comes naturally to her :).
Emily S (Australia)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!
I told my class this week that I would be nominating the best piece of writing for an excellence badge but of course I have also been looking for excellence in everything that they do! Emily can find it a challenge to be confident in what she can do but she is an absolute super star. She cares so much about really understanding what she is being asked to do which is an amazing quality to have! Not only was her writing exceptional, she also worked incredibly hard in maths this week which is a subject she says she finds a real challenge. I hope she realises that by winning this badge she is far more capable than she gives herself credit for and I'm looking forward to seeing what she can achieve this year. I’m sure that she’ll be more than able to go beyond the possible. Well done Emily!

who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!
This member of our class can sometimes find his learning tricky, but has absolutely wowed me with his effort and excellence in maths so far this year! This week he completed an amazing eight challenges across three days with very little adult help. He paid close attention during the lesson inputs, answering several questions correctly, and even helped a friend who was finding the learning hard to understand. His knowledge and understanding of Roman Numerals has been particularly impressive.
