Time to CELEBRATE - Value Champion Alert!

We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2023-2024!

A huge congratulations to

Oliver F (Australia)

who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Olly is one of the most genuinely kind people I have come across. He is a fantastic friend and extremely supportive: he will regularly check in with his friends to see if they are okay, will ensure children aren’t left out when working in groups, is extremely supportive as a PE Leader and will make sure when leading a group that everyone is clear and what they are doing and always asks the adults in the classroom how they are and if they are having a good day. It’s such a wonderful character trait to have and definitely makes a difference to our classroom!

Lana W (Australia)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Lana finished 2023 by working incredibly hard and really pushing herself to achieve! In particular she has really applied herself in Maths and will often reach the higher challenges and will always make sure she double checks that she really understands what she is learning so that she can apply it independently. Well done Lana, keep up all your hard work!

Jah-Kai L and Harlie S (Greenland)

who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2023-2024!

They were absolutely fantastic on our trip and showed the 3R’s at every point during the day and really blew us away with their knowledge of World War 2!  They were an absolute delight to have join us and a real credit to Greenland and themselves!

Tyler M (Japan)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Tyler has really impressed me with his attitude towards his learning recently. He is striving continuously to better his learning in all subjects. He is keen to achieve the higher challenges in maths and I’ve also noticed how much his writing is improving also including his spelling! Well done Tyler, I can’t wait to see what else you will achieve this year!

Connor S (China)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

This week Connor really blew me away with his writing ability. He listen well to develop his writing and used the working wall to improve his writing. He contributed well and I was impressed with his understanding of the book. His writing was excellent due to his hard work and effort. Well done Connor keep it up!

Abigail O (India)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

This student has shown fantastic determination and resilience in all areas of her learning so far in Year 5. She has particularly impressed me with her work in maths, where she has sometimes found it tricky to have confidence but I can tell she has made an enormous effort to try her best and, as a result, she has made fantastic progress so far. She puts her hand up for every question and and gives everything a go in every subject and therefore I think she is thoroughly deserving of a learning champion badge.

Gracie H (Peru)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

We have been very impressed with how hard Gracie tries in all of the lessons.  She will always ask for help and loves to share her writing with us.  She shows resilience and always wants to show us what she can do.  She was very excited when she got on to challenge 5 in a recent maths lesson.  We are so pleased to give Gracie this award.  She is certainly a role model to the class and it is lovely to watch her confidence grow each week.  Well done Gracie.  You should be very proud of all that you have achieved since September.

Rose M (Peru)

who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Rose is such a kind and thoughtful member of the class.  She is always willing to help in class and her peers.  She has an amazing relationship with one of the children in the class.  She helps them to get ready for lunch and breaktimes.  She encourages them to respond to questions they are asked and models these responses.  She always looks out for them and makes sure that they join in the games with other children in the class.  It has been lovely to see how she interacts with the class and she tells us that she enjoys helping people.  Well done Rose.

Agnes C (Peru)

who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Agnes always models the 3Rs in everything she does.  She concentrates on her learning and will always attempt to complete the tasks before asking for support.  She is always ready to learn and to show her best work. Once she had completed her pencil case, she helped support other children by holding their material whilst they sewed the pieces of material together.  It is a pleasure to have her in our class this year. Agnes, keep up the good work.  We are so proud of all you have achieved this year.

Ronnie S, Alex G and Unaysa M (Peru)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

These three children have all been working with Mrs Padgett last half term.  She has been very impressed with how much progress they have made week on week.  They are getting more and more of their spellings correct and are able to use these when they get back into class.  They will always come into class and enthusiastically tell us how well they did in each session.  Well done to all of you.  You should all be very proud of what you have achieved.  Remember, you can do it!

A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
