Time to CELEBRATE - Value Champion Alert!

We are very excited and pleased to share with you that we have more Clockhouse Value Champions of 2023-2024!

A huge congratulations to

Bella W (Australia)

who has earned the Excitement Champion Award for 2023-2024!

You don't get more enthusiastic in Australia than Bella! She loves to learn and ask questions to make sure she really understands what she is being taught. It usually doesn't matter if it's independent learning, group work, active learning or on a trip because Bella will approach opportunities with curiosity, energy and enthusiasm. This is having a positive impact on her learning and she is now taking what she has learned and using it in new situations- I even overheard her describing the concept of messy thinking to her table last week in English! Well done Bella, keep up the excitement!

Rosie S (Australia)

who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Rosie understands that hard work leads to success! She has a positive attitude towards her learning and believes that she can achieve anything he puts her mind to. In terms of excellence, Rosie always celebrates the achievements of others and supports her peers on their learning journeys. She understands that her abilities are her own responsibility and she does not compare himself to others. This is something we have worked hard on since the beginning of the year and the hard work is paying off. It is lovely to see how much confident Rosie is and now hopefully she will believe she is as excellent as we keep telling her she is!

Connie S-W (New Zealand)

who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Each and every day Connie always goes out of her way to help and support those around her. This does not only include the children in her class; but, children from other classes as well as members of staff and adults throughout the Clockhouse community. She always thinks of others before herself and demonstrates her willingness to help and care for others every day. She is a model of what it means to show care and respect to others in our Community and I know that this is value she will continue to hold in high esteem as she continues along life's journey.

Katie A (New Zealand)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Katie always shows a clear love of learning in every lesson she undertakes. She is inquisitive, hard-working and relentless in her personal pursuit of making sure her learning is the best that it can be at all times of the day. The enthusiasm and the pride she takes in her learning is a pleasure to see and a model to others around her.

Victoria C (Japan)

who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Victoria strives for excellence in all that she does. Her hard work ethic has enabled her to ensure her is always of a high standard. She always listens to feedback well and is keen to further improve her learning.  Her work is the definition and excellence and we are very lucky to have her in class Japan.

Faria U (China)

who has earned the Community Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Whilst in the pool during a swimming lesson one child was scared and started crying. The badge winner, despite being new to swimming herself, took the time to comfort the other child both in the pool and at the end of the lesson. This is typical of our badge winner as they are a model Clockhouse citizen, always showing the 3Rs and always being kind and helpful to others.

Valeria V and Mariyah K (China)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

These two people are great writers, they produce consistently strong pieces of work by combining imaginative language with a good understanding of grammar, however their recent letters to Lady Macbeth were a bit special. Both children made excellent and extended use of archaic language, their grammar was almost faultless (saving the school money in yellow highlighter ink), and the ideas they were getting across in their writing were complex and well thought through. This all combined to produce some truly outstanding writing, great job!

Kiki K-G (Kenya)

who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!

It has been a pleasure to watch Kiki grow in confidence since starting Year 4. She puts her all into everything she does and strives to improve. I am so proud of her willingness to share her work with others and how she listens to feedback. You are an excellent role model to all in Kenya, well done Kiki!

Freddy N (Kenya)

who has earned the Respect Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Freddy is a polite and respectful member of our class. No matter who he is working with or the lesson, he shows maturtiy and an eagerness to learn. This has also been seen out in the playground and noticed by other teachers who have mentioned how well-mannered Freddy is. It is a pleasure to have him in class Kenya, well done Freddy!

Evan F (South Africa)

who has earned the Excitement Champion Award for 2023-2024!

Excitement is a word that very much describes this person's attitude to their learning!  He faces challenges that none of us can fully understand, but never lets that dull his shine or sparkle!  He is full of enthusiasm for all aspects of the curriculum, loves to share his ideas and opinions and takes on every new challenge with determination and good humour.  What I love most is that he enjoys and celebrates his friends successes as much as his own, and his enthusiasm is infectious. He makes me smile every day and I am so lucky to have him as a member of my class.  Congratulations Evan, you are fantastic!!

Alex N (South Africa)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

This person has worked so hard across the curriculum and has made fantastic progress so far this year, especially in English.  His attitude to learning has improved so much, as well as his confidence and desire to work independently.  He puts so much effort into his learning and is really working hard on concentrating and staying focused during learning time. As a result we have seen a big improvement, especially in his reading and spelling.  Well done Alex, you should be very proud of yourself!

Tommy C (Argentina)

who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2023-2024!

This child has been going out of his way in breakfast club and in the classroom to help others and is making more and more positive choices everyday. He is choosing kindness which is amazing to see and shows what a kind and caring boy he can be.

Ruby T (USA)

who has earned the Learning Champion Award for 2023-2024!

This person is a joy to have in class, she is becoming a more independent learner and her confidence is growing. Her progress this year has been excellent, she is always looking to take on the next challenge. In lessons she is happy to share her work and ideas which will support others with their learning. It is wonderful to see her grow.

A huge well done from everyone at Clockhouse - wear your Values Champion Badge with pride!
