Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Nyla R for being fantastic during our working wall in the morning and showing great listening.
Reception - Sebastian O (Scotland) for trying very hard to improve his work and for making good choices.
Year 1 - Avery R (Spain) for trying so hard with all her learning.
Year 2 - Olivia J (Mexico) for outstanding reading and comprehension this week.
Year 3 - Giorgio D (Peru) for trying hard in all of his learning and identifying where he has made mistakes and correcting them before showing an adult.
Year 4 - Mary-Jane O (Kenya) for great independent learning and being a positive role model to the rest of the class.
Year 5 - Miss Spencer for being so helpful and supportive to the whole team.
Year 6 - Macey J (Australia) for amazing effort during the MOCKs this week.
Mr Yarrow - Lois M (Brazil) for her fabulous research and home learning in P.E.
Miss Ward - Louie S (Kenya) for trying exceptionally hard with all his learning this week.
Mrs Reinecke - Mariyah K (Brazil) for her determination and resilience in her assessments this week.
Mrs Savidge - David A (Scotland) to trying extraordinarily hard with his presentation.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
