Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Jacob E for being such a responsible person at home.
Reception -
Manat R (Scotland) for trying very hard with the provisions and being very creative.
Year 1 - Joey M (Italy) for showing great kindness to others and being a great friend to all.
Year 2 - Tainara A-C (Canada) for working so hard in all her lesson as well as continuing to making herself better in any spare time she has and always practising what she has learned that day.
Year 3 - Jake H (Brazil) for being incredibly helpful and enthusiastic throughout our Design and Technology project this week.
Year 4 - Blake J (South Africa) for working extra hard with her multiplication the past two weeks and showing great resilience.
Year 5 - Lily B (China) for trying incredibly hard in her maths this week and persevering when she found it challenging.
Year 6 - Liam T (New Zealand) for persevering in his maths work on Fractions and for challenging himself with his use of vocabulary in his English writing.
Miss Ward - Lilly-Mai (Canada) for trying so hard to improve her phonic knowledge.
Mrs Reinecke -  Danyal A (New Zealand) for his enthusiasm and positive attitudes towards all of his learning. He never gives up and always strives to do more.
Mrs Savidge - Jessica W (Japan) for trying so very hard to improve her writing.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
