Hot Chocolate with the Head

As we all know, Hot Chocolate with the Head is an important part of Clockhouse. Obviously due to the current situation we find ourselves in, sadly it is still not possible for us to come together to celebrate which is such a shame. However, we do not want the children to miss out and therefore the chosen children will get a special Hot Chocolate pack to enjoy at home!

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' to ensure our school is a fabulous place to be and the children the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this! We hope all the children enjoy their hot chocolate pack - send us a picture of you enjoying your special celebration drink!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary':

Nursery - Ralphie S for coming into Nursery really well this week.  He joined in with PE and tried his best.
Reception - Jaxson N (Northern Ireland) for trying so very hard with every aspect of his learning.
Year 1 - Jaiden F (France) for having a great attitude to learning which is making the ordinary extraordinary.
Year 2 - Harkaran T (USA) for working exceptionally hard with his maths and reading learning.
Year 3 - Archie G (Argentina) for using his resilient approach to learning whilst learning about subtraction and overcoming the barriers he faced to progress through the maths challenges.
Year 4 - Jah-Kai L (Greenland and Kenya) for being so respectful of others and the public during the trip to London. He was also so welcoming of our visitor, the Rabbi, he welcomed him warmly and respectfully. He listened to the adults around him and was a great Clockhouse Citizen.
Year 5 - Finn N (China) for great resilience in Maths this week. He found it tricky to begin with but persevered until he understood the concepts.
Year 6 - Freddy E (Fiji) for his amazing attitude towards his writing recently. He has taken onboard feedback and is really applying himself.
Miss Ward - Bogdan B (South Africa) for excellent work with multiplication this week in maths.
Mrs Reinecke -  Nathan B (Japan) for excellent maths work about division.
Mrs Savidge - Mrs Wilmott for going out of her way to help others.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to be 'Making the Ordinary Extraordinary' this week!

Our treats are ready to go and we are looking forward to Hot Chocolate Friday next week to celebrate with more fantastic Clockhouse people!
