Archie D (New Zealand)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!
Archie shows a caring and nurturing nature every single day. He cares about his environment, continuously striving to be helpful and tidy or organise things both in class and for OPAL. He has also, by taking his own initiative and organising it himself, started to run his own club at lunchtime where he is teaching younger children how to play basketball.
He is a wonderful example of the school value of Nurture.
Alfie F (Fiji)
who has earned the Nurture Champion Award for 2022-2023!
I have nominated him because I have seen a really kind and caring side to him. After lunch, he works well with other children in the class to support them with their learning and has built a great bond with a child that has recently joined our class. He looks out for him and makes sure that he is ok at all times which is wonderful to see. I have also seen him take a step back and think about what he needs in order to complete his learning to the best of his ability and I could not be more proud of him.
Teddie M (Fiji)
who has earned the Excellence Champion Award for 2022-2023!
No matter the lesson we are doing, I can always rely on Teddie to give 110%. He strives for excellence in everything he does and it is wonderful to see the progress he is making already! He inspires his peers and always like to offer them help and guidance.
