Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Romaine F (Wales) for trying exceptionally hard with his work, especially his name writing.
Year 1 - Ehsan A (Spain) for making exceptional progress in his maths learning
Year 2 - Alex G (Canada) for exceptional resilience in maths and being a kind and caring boy.
Year 3 - Ruslan H (Peru) for his exceptional poem about the Iron Man. He paid attention to the structure and took on board the ideas from the book while recreating it in a thoughtful way.
Year 4 - Cooper B (Uganda) for always completing his work to an exceptional standard and pushing him with all lessons.
Year 5 - Safa H (China) for an exceptional improvement in his maths presentation. He has been ensuring that there is a margin, one number per box and the correct alignment for standard methods.
Year 6 - Amelia S (Australia) for working exceptionally and showing amazing perseverance on BIDMAS.
Greenland - Harlie S for writing an exceptional poem using powerful adjectives.
Miss Ward - Daniel R (China) for his exceptional quick thinking when a child was unwell.
Mrs Reinecke - Jax P (Fiji) for his exceptional resilience and determination in maths responding to feedback and making good progress and well as being exceptionally thoughtful.
Mrs Savidge - Frankie W (Japan) for exceptional progress with his reading, it was a pleasure listening to him read to me.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!

We loved having hot chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
