Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Mahdi T (Northern Ireland) for trying exceptionally hard to grow in confidence and form good relationships with his peers.
Year 1 - Millie E (Italy) for her exceptional desire to teach others how to do the right thing, even when nobody is watching.
Year 2 - Terry F (USA) for exceptional effort in Maths.
Year 3 - Scarlett H (Brazil) for trying exceptionally hard in all of her learning this week and showing great resilience when completing her Year 3 assessments.
Year 4 - Eesa A (South Africa) for exceptionally creative ideas in his writing and taking his time to think carefully about what he is writing.
Year 5 - Eric V (Japan) for his change in attitude towards his behaviour and learning. He reads everyday and is trying his best in class. He worked brilliantly in his topography map in Geography and showed great teamwork.
Year 6 - Roman S (Fiji) for an exceptionally positive change in attitude and showing a consistent love of learning.
Greenland - Grace P for her exceptional maths work representing multiplication with arrays.
Miss Ward - Oliver F (China) for being very kind and considerate when a younger child was unwell.
Mrs Reinecke - Ruby B (Japan) for being an exceptional model for nurture - showing patience and care towards others.
Mrs Savidge - Rosie S (China) for being very kind and considerate when a younger child was unwell.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!

We loved having hot chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
