Weekly reminders for the week beginning 14th November

We hope the children enjoyed Best of British week and the children were excited to come home and talk to you about this.

Our annual Remembrance Service, provided us with a great opportunity to remember those gone before us, thank you to all of those who gave us such positive feedback. Watch out for the video showing you what we got up to during this week coming your way soon. As always, the children were outstanding during our Remembrance Day Service and showed the upmost respect. It was wonderful to see the whole school community come together for this. Thank you also for the lovely comments regarding the poppy displays.

Thank you also for your overwhelmingly positive feedback your gave to use in the questionnaire we sent out. We are busy looking at this and will communicate our overall findings with you in the near future as well as trying to address the improvement areas you have suggested.

Reception - Year 6
Please remember that the flu immunisations will be taking place on Wednesday.

School Photographs
Following the letter that came out earlier in the term, please remember that individual school photographs will be taken on Thursday 17th November. As per the letter, if you do want siblings photographed please come before school, this can also include siblings who do not come to Clockhouse.

Year 1
We look forward to welcoming our Year 1 for Learn with my Child on Friday morning at 9.30am - 11.45. Please come for as little or as much as you can. As with the other year groups, regrettably we are unable to accommodate younger siblings at these events.

Year 6
From Tuesday and throughout the week, the Year 6 children will be sitting Mock SATs tests. Please speak to your child's class teacher after the tests if you wish to know how they got on do that you can further support them at home - every bit really does help!

Children In Need
On Friday, we are once again supporting the very worthy cause of Children in Need whose theme this year is 'Spotacular'. Together we will come together by wearing spots. In doing so we will be having a non-uniform day where we will be showing our support by coming dressed in something spotty (a small donation in the bucket is all that is needed, should you wish to contribute)! Should your child have PE on this day, they can still wear something spotty for the day but will still be doing PE. Please keep this in mind when deciding what your child will wear. All donations received for this will be sent to Children in Need. Please help us support this worthy cause!
