Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Tilly F (Wales) for trying exceptionally hard with her learning.
Year 1 - Rosie T (Spain) for continuously achieving exceptional scores with her spellings each week.
Year 2 - Stanley B (Canada) for making exceptional improvements in his writing and writing an excellent letter as Rainbow Bear.
Year 3 - Jessica R (Peru) for her exceptional efforts with her learning about time.
Year 4 - Anita M (Kenya) for being an exceptionally caring and kind member of the class.
Year 5 -  Rosie S (China) for stepping into a speaking role in the Christmas concert. She was confident in her speaking given she didn't have any practise.
Year 6 - William R (New Zealand) for his exceptional effort and understanding in Science when exploring the dangers of drugs and alcohol on the body.
Greenland - Jah-Kai for his exceptional effort to improve his writing.
Miss Ward - Harry J (Japan) for his exceptional effort to step into a role for their carol concert and to learn the words off by heart.
Mrs Reinecke - Bella (Fiji) for her exceptionally clear explanation of how her PSHE learning helps her progress.
Mrs Savidge - Marco M (Australia) for being so kind to his class mates in the canteen.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!

We loved having hot chocolate with Mrs Savidge!
