Hot Chocolate with the Head

As you all know we are constantly striving to improve Clockhouse for your children.

This year we are all trying our best to 'Be Exceptional' in everything to ensure that our school is a fabulous place to be and the children get the best all round experience possible. Each week, the Heads of Year as well as Miss Ward, Mrs Reinecke and Mrs Savidge choose a person (child or adult) who has been seen to do this and then they get to have Hot Chocolate with Mrs Savidge!

This week the following Clockhouse Citizens have been seen to 'Be Exceptional':

Reception - Chase S (Scotland) for exceptional listening during learning times this week and trying very hard to follow the 3R's.
Year 1 - Darcy S-T (Spain) for her exceptional use of her phonics to support her spelling throughout all of her learning.
Year 2 - Michael S (USA) for working exceptionally hard in maths to complete challenges independently.
Year 3 - Isla I (Argentina) for her exceptional return to school, being ready to learn and developing her confidence to participate during lesson time.
Year 4 - Henry C (Uganda) for trying exceptionally hard with his learning and showing resilience across a range of subjects.
Year 5 - Ethan B (Japan) for his exceptional home learning and for going above and beyond to extend his learning by completing additional work.
Year 6 - Jai C (Australia) for his exceptional prior learning when explaining how to find the area of a compound shape.
Greenland - Lily M for her exceptional effort to complete learning independently.
Miss Ward - Noah J (Uganda) for all his exceptionally hard work while doing home learning when school was closed.
Mrs Reinecke - Fabian S (New Zealand) for his exceptional work and resilience in Time to Eat to serve and help others despite how tricky it was.
Mrs Savidge - Hasan J (New Zealand) for his exceptional work and resilience in Time to Eat to serve and help others despite how tricky it was.

Well done to all these children and all the other children who have been seen to 'Be Exceptional' this week!
