The team arrived excited to learn more about cricket and get involved playing the new sport that they had not experienced before! This is a great experience for the Year 2 children to learn and progress in Cricket ready for their move to KS2.
The children scored many runs and showed excellent work in the field throughout the day. For this the Clockhouse team received many compliments from the leader of the competition, other teachers and sports leaders! The team should be very proud of themselves and keep up the hard work ready for more cricket in the future!
Miss Macdonald said “The children did a brilliant job listening to the rules, working as a team and taking on different roles when fielding! It was a great to receive lots of positive comments about how well the team did! I am very proud of them all. Well done team."
